Join the Uplift Movement

Can you imagine being a senior woman in your 70’s or 80’s, homeless in Collier County, Florida, grappling with the harsh reality of isolation and financial hardship? Our Women Lifting Women campaign was unveiled at our Women of Initiative luncheon. It’s built upon three robust pillars formulated by an extensive, detailed, and comprehensive needs study.

Addressing Senior Women’s Homelessness

The first pillar focuses on women’s homelessness, particularly among senior women. This urgent need commands our immediate attention. In 2020, 74 senior women were identified as homeless and living in their cars in Collier County, Florida. Your support can provide affordable housing and essential resources, helping these women regain stability and dignity.

Empowering Young Women

The second pillar is dedicated to the women’s empowerment of young women in Collier County, Florida. We aim to help them navigate everyday challenges, enabling them to move forward with positivity and confidence. We offer advanced scholarships, career development, and mentorship programs for women, ensuring a brighter future filled with opportunities and growth.

Building a Lasting Legacy

The third pillar is our endowment. Our goal is to raise $1.1 million for immediate needs and grow our endowment to $5 million to ensure sustained financial assistance and support for our work in perpetuity. This initiative is a significant step towards gender equality initiatives and social justice causes in Collier County, Florida.
