Women of Initiative – Past, Present, Future

Who are the Women of Initiative?

Each spring, the Women’s Foundation of the Community Foundation of Collier County honors local women leaders who, through their leadership styles, are an inspiration to all women seeking to make a difference through philanthropy and civic engagement.

These ten remarkable women who, through their leadership, innovation, energy, and dedication of time and talent, have helped change the face of our community. Net proceeds from this event help meet the needs of at-risk women and girls in our community through grants from the Women’s Foundation of Collier County.

2021 Honorees will be celebrated at the Women of Initiative Rock Philanthropy in December 2021. The event combines two favorites (Women of Initiative and Power of the Purse) into one new epic celebration that recognizes women as philanthropic rock stars. Women of Initiative Rock Philanthropy will be the hit of the season & we want you to have a front-row seat! #womenrockphilanthropy
